The stage is where I truly come alive. I love the thrill of performance, transforming into different characters and telling their stories through my actions and voice. Each role in school plays and musicals is a new adventure, an opportunity to explore different human emotions and expression. I have been part of several productions at my school, playing lead characters in the last few.
Into the Woods (Jan 2024)
Lead Character: The Witch

Taking center stage as the Witch in our school's production of 'Into the Woods,' I poured my heart into the character. One of the original songs that I performed in the musical was "Stay with Me", which i thoroughly enjoyed.

As the lead character, here's a glimpse of the opening scene, where I set the stage for the story with the Baker and the Baker's wife and sent them off into the woods.

In this musical, I had the pleasure of performing with amazingly talented 7th grade students, and the entire musical was very well received.

A Midsummer Night's Dream (May 2023)
Lead Character: Helena
Portraying Helena in Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' was an enchanting and exhilarating experience. As one of the lead characters, I immersed myself into the complexities of Shakespearean language, trying to bring to life Helena's emotional depth and comedic timing. It was an adventure in classical theatre that was not only educational but incredibly fun.
The Wizard of Oz (Jan 2023)
Character: The Wizard of Oz
In this performance as the Wizard in 'The Wizard of Oz, at our school' I delve into the magical world of Oz with enthusiasm and a touch of mystery. My portrayal brings to life the Wizard's charismatic yet enigmatic character, weaving a spell of intrigue and wonder. From behind the curtain, I project the Wizard's powerful presence, contributing to the enchanting atmosphere of this timeless story.
Spamalot (May 2022)
Character: Soldier, Others
An adaptation of the classic film 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail,' this was a delightful and hilarious journey through the Arthurian legend with a comedic twist. Performed during my middle school years, Spamalot' was an unforgettable experience that allowed us to explore our comedic timing and teamwork, all while having an enormous amount of fun.
